Q: How many vendors are in the database?
A: We currently have 9 vendors in our PUPS database.
Q: Will you be adding additional vendors?
A: Yes. We plan to add/delete vendors periodically.
Q: I noticed that all of the USPS approved items are not in the database. Will you be adding additional items?
A: Yes, we will be adding the most popular of the USPS approved uniforms, shoes and accessories to the database over time.
Q: What does it mean when I get the message "No Vendors Found?"
A: It means that PUPS did not find a vendor in the database which sells the item at the size you selected.
TIP: Try repeating your search with a different size selected. Selecting short, long and extremity sizes will decrease the number of vendors in your search results. Remember, size determines price. So, it is a key factor in all searches.
Q: Why do only one or two vendors show up in my search results?
A: PUPS will find all of the vendors in the database that sell the selected item(s) in the selected sizes. Most vendors do not sell EVERY item in our database. Some items are only sold by a few vendors. Some vendors do not sell short and long sizes. In addition, for various reasons, we occasionally may not know the price of a selected item at a selected size from certain vendors. Perhaps the price has not been published, for example. It is likely that we will never achieve 100% accuracy. We will do our best, however, to make the database as accurate and complete as possible.
Q: Is this website part of the USPS?
A: No. The Postal Uniforms Vendor Directory is a private company. We are a website development and hosting company. Our team of web professionals specialize in e-commerce and database applications. If you need our services, please contact us.
Q: Is The Postal Uniforms Vendor Directory a licensed vendor?
A: No. We do not sell uniforms. We are not a licensed vendor. When you click on a link to a vendor, you are redirected to the vendor's website and your transaction, if any, occurs directly with the vendor. We are not responsible for the conduct or operation of any vendor. Please shop wisely using all pertinent information. Remember that price is only one factor in your purchasing decision.
Q: Do you guarantee your search results?
A: No. We do our best to provide accurate information, but we cannot be held liable for any discrepancies found. You are responsible for verifying the price(s) with the vendor before ordering. In fact, we need your help to keep our database accurate. If you find inaccurate information, please let us know about it.
